Conan Neutron

Conan Neutron (real name: Conan Newton; named after Arthur Conan Doyle, born December 5, 1977) is the guitarist/singer/tape deck operator for Replicator, as well as a sometimes music journalist. He is an advocate of secular humanism, an outspoken proponent of DIY punk ethic and a figure in anticonsumerist activism, black_box_voting reform, fair trade, social justice, voters rights and other forms of progressive politics and an outspoken opponent of media consolidation, the PNAC and overly authoritarian rule. He is also one of the main organizers of Bands Against Bush, a group of musicians and bands dedicated to the removal of George W. Bush as the president of the United States. Conan grew up in Modesto, California, before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area and Oakland.
