Como is a city in Lombardy, Italy, 45 km north of Milan; the capital of the province of Como, it borders Lake Como. Geographical features Population In 2001 Como had 78,315 inhabitants (36,805 male and 41,510 female), with a density of 2097.4 people/km2.
