Communist Workers' Group (New Zealand)

The Communist Workers' Group is a Trotskyist political organisation in New Zealand. Its origins are tobe found in the Communist Left group which developed links with the League for a Revolutionary Communist International, led by the British Workers Power group. After joing the LRCI it was renamed Workers' Power but some time later its founding members entered into duipute with that tendency. Along with the Peruvian and Bolivian groups of the LRCI, as well as a small circle around a former Bolivian militant in London, it then formed the Liaison Committee of Militants for a Revolutionary Communist International in 1995. The dispute centering on the NATO bombing of Serbia. They produce a magazine called Class Struggle.
