communication canada

Communication Canada was a government agency in Canada responsible for keeping the federal government and its agencies connected with the citizens. The Honourable Ralph Goodale was appointed Minister Public Works and Government Services Canada, and thereby minister responsible for Communication Canada on the 26^th of May 2002. The Government of Canada announced December 13, 2003 that Communication Canada would be disbanded by the end of the fiscal year ending March 2004. Its services such as the main government web site (www.canada.gc.ca) and the toll-free information service would be allocated to other government bodies.
