Cocktail (Movie)

right Cocktail was a hit movie released in 1988. After moving to New York, Brian Flanagan (Tom Cruise) gets a part time job as a bartender while studying for a business degree. This starts off tougher than he expected but with some tricks of the trade from his boss Doug (Bryan Brown), he soon becomes one of the most popular bartenders in town. Brian decides to open up his own bar in Jamaica, where he finds continued success, and a romantic partner in Jordan (Elisabeth Shue). Things take a turn for the worse when Brian starts an affair with an older, wealthier woman, and the audience wonders if Jordan will forgive him. The movie starred Cruise, Brown, Shue, Lisa Banes, Laurence Luckinbill, Kelly Lynch and Gina Gershon.
