CochisumaCochisuma is a well known mega-band from Argentina, which started as a garage band and became one of the most famous icons of Argentine rock music. The original band members were (in order of appeareance) Alejandro "Egg" Cicero: Lead Guitar; Ed Gardo "Chaval" Garcia: Rhythm guitar and lead voice; Ernesto "Ernesta" Patrucco: Bass; Jorge "Clock" Balestra: Drums . With this formation (named also mk1), they released their first CD named "Flujo sonoro", followed, 8 months later, by their second CD "No hables mas". Both of them are now considered as masterpieces of the music, most of all because the great work done by their lead guitar egg. After that they hired a new member, key Tournier in keyboards and since that the new formation (named also mk2) began to change the hole sound of the band, loved by the new fans but regretted by the olders. His peak of creativeness and power lasted until the lead guitar left the band, disappointed by the behaviour of his band mates, which recorded in cassette every minute of the rehearsals and everything that they can record. After that, with an invited guitarist (named "corcho") they released another CD "identikit" but things were not the same. They're still playing, mostly covers, with a new one guitarist ("V") and will release another CD, unnamed yet, soon.
