Cocacolonization

Cocacolonization or coca-colonization is a term for globalization, often used pejoratively to liken globalization to Westernization or Americanization. Although it is sometimes used more benignly, often the term implies that globalization is either: The term is a portmanteau of the term colonization and the name of the giant soft drink corporation Coca-Cola which produces the product of the same name.
