The Cobb County Airport at McCollum Field is a municipal airport located immediately south of Kennesaw, Georgia, in the United States. It is owned and operated by the county government of Cobb County, in the northwestern part of metro Atlanta. Its IATA airport code is RYY, its ICAO airport code is KRYY. It is also a weather station, but does not report from midnight to 6:00 in the morning. The airport sits on 320 acres or 130 hectares, and has one runway 6305 feet or 1922 meters long, and a small control tower. There are nearly 400 aircraft and about 185 employees based at McCollum, including the businesses that operate from it. Originally for recreational and private pilots, it has become more business-oriented in recent years.
