Clodhopper (Candy)

Clodhoppers are crunchy, fudge-covered graham clusters and cashews. They are marketed by Chris Emery and Larry Finnson of the Kraves Candy Co., located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They are available in Vanilla, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and "Cookies 'n Clods" flavours.

History

The candy was originally made by Chris's grandmother, in vanilla flavour. In 1996, Chris and Larry decided to sell the Clodhoppers made by Chris's grandmother in their garage. In 1998, they signed a distribution contract with Wal-Mart. The Krave's factory (located in Winnipeg) now produces 2,500 pounds of clodhoppers per hour.
