Claude Nougaro

Claude Nougaro (September 9, 1929March 4, 2004) was a French songwriter and singer born in Toulouse. He started in Paris as a journalist and wrote songs for Marcel Amont and Philippe Clay. Beginning in 1962 he conducted a solo singing career. Nougaro died in Paris at age 74.
