Claude Lanzmann

Claude Lanzmann is a Paris based filmmaker and professor of documentary film at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland where he conducts a summer workshop. He directs the magazine Les Temps Modernes, which was founded by Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. His most renowned work is the 9 hour documentary film Shoah (1985) - the "oral history of the Holocaust."
