Ckos

CKOS is a former Canadian television station, which broadcast in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. It was a private affiliate of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, as a twinstick with the city's CTV affiliate CICC. CKBI was established on June 18, 1958 by Yorkton Television. Yorkton subsequently opened CICC in 1974. In 1984, Yorkton Television also purchased CKBI in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. In 1986, Yorkton was acquired by Baton Broadcasting, which became the sole corporate owner of CTV in 1997. In 2002, CTV sold CKBI and CKOS to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. CKOS is now a retransmitter of CBKT in Regina.
