CineyCiney is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Namur. On January 1st, 2004 Ciney had a total population of 14,769 (7,146 males and 7,623 females). The total area is 147.56 km² which gives a population density of 100.09 inhabitants per km². The famous beers from the city are now brewed by Alken Maes : Blond Ciney, Brown Ciney and Special Ciney. Those beers were first brewed in 1978.
