Cindy Pickett

Cindy Pickett (born April 18, 1947 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, USA), is an actress who had supporting roles in the comedy movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off as Matthew Broderick's character's mom, and the mother of a boy who was kidnapped for several years in the dramatic TV movie I know My First Name is Steven. She also in the cast of the soap opera The Guiding Light from 1976 to 1980, and the hospital drama TV series St. Elsewhere from 1986 to 1988. TV series she's guest-starred on include Simon & Simon, Magnum, P.I., L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote, The Pretender, Without a Trace, and Crossing Jordan. She met her current husband, Lyman Ward, on the set of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and they married sometime afterwards.
