Ciccone Youth

Ciccone Youth is an experimental band which was formed in 1986. It is a side project of Sonic Youth members Steve Shelley, Kim Gordon, Lee Ranaldo, Thurston Moore and The Minutemen/fIREHOSE member Mike Watt. Though the band never played live, they released a single containing "burnin' up", "tuff titty rap", "into the groovey" on new alliance records and a full-length album called The Whitey Album on Blast First Records in 1989. The album, being rumored to cover songs by The Beatles, actually contains cover songs by various artists. Ciccone is the last name of the pop singer Madonna.
