Church Of Fools

Church of Fools is the UK's first web-based, 3D church, which opened as a three-month experiment on May 11th 2004. Church of Fools is an attempt to create holy ground on the net, where people can worship, pray and talk about faith. It was created by the founders of Ship of Fools. Although sponsored by the Methodist Church in the UK, the church is partly intended for people on the edges (and beyond) of faith. It seems to attract visitors from all over the world. It received massive media attention when it was launched, being featured on the BBC news website, The Times and others.
