Chteauguay, Quebec

Chateauguay is a ville (city) in southwestern Quebec south of Montreal on Lac St-Louis (part of the St. Lawrence River). Population (2001 census): 41,003. It was the site of a battle during the War of 1812 (see Battle of Chateauguay).
