Christopher Reece

Christopher Reece (born July 28, 1959) who is sometimes known as Chris Reece was a drummer of 2 bands The Lewd (1978-1983) and best known from Social Distortion (1984-1993).

Musical Career

He started being in a band when he was 19 years old in 1978 as a drummer for The Lewd permanently until he discontinued in 1983. In the following year, he was hired by Social Distortion's frontman Mike Ness as a member along with bassist John Maurer. In 1987, he appeared on the Social Distortion's first album in 5 years Prison Bound and became well known when they released the self-titled album in 1990 and Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell in 1992. In the following year he decided to leave the band when they were still touring and then left in 1993 before Mike Ness hired Randy Carr that has been a member shortly.
