Christendom College

Christendom College is a Roman Catholic liberal arts college located in Front Royal, Virginia. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Warren H. Carroll and a group of Catholic lay men and woman, it is known for its academic rigour, a traditional liberal arts curriculum, and an emphasis on fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Special emphasis is placed on spiritual and moral development. The current president is Dr. Timothy T. O'Donnell, who was the first layman to receive both his licentiate and doctoral degrees in Ascetical and Mystical Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome.
