Chinese Eastern Line

When the first version of Trans-Siberian Railroad was completed, a portion of it went by a short cut through China. It became known as the Chinese Eastern Line in English. It is usually referred to as "KVZhD" in Russia. The city of Harbin was one of the main stops along this line and its development was boosted by it.
