It does not evolve. It eats berries with its long tail. It rings in high winds and cries as it hangs from a tree branch or the eaves of a building. Chimecho looks like it can be blown away by a hurricane in just a few seconds. It likes to ring the chime on its head. Name Origin "Chimecho" is a conjunction of "chime" and "echo," because the chimes it makes echo inside the hollow bell on its head. Availability In Pokmon Ruby & Sapphire, Chimecho can be caught at the summit of Mt. Pyre, only at the two patches of grass to the left and right of the two orbs and at the very top. It is so rare, though, that it may be hours before you will encounter one. Because of this, Chimecho is the rarest Pokmon in the game, excluding the one-of-a-kind legendaries. Anime Appearances Chimecho will appear in the TV series in the upcoming Japan episode, "Fortree City's Feather Carnival," where Team Rocket's James obtains one.
