Chen Kenichi

Chen Kenichi(陳建一) (born 1956 in Tokyo, Japan) is the Iron Chef Chinese on the television series Iron Chef. He wears a yellow outfit and holds a cleaver in his introduction. He is the only Iron Chef to hold his position throughout the life of the show. He is known for his Szechwan dishes, including his specialty "Prawns in Chili Sauce". He is the son of famed chef Chen Kenmin, sometimes called the "Father of Chinese cooking in Japan." As an Iron Chef, he has fought more battles than any of the others, a whopping 92 battles. He has won 67, lost 22, and tied 3. He also now runs the Shisen Hanten group of restaurants found in Akasaka, Ikebukuro, Roppongi, Tokushima, Kure(Hiroshima Prefecture), Matsuyama and Hakata.
