cheltenham festival

The Cheltenham Festival is the most prestigious meeting in the National Hunt racing calendar in the United Kingdom. It takes place each March at Cheltenham Racecourse in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, the leading National Hunt racecourse in the United Kingdom. In 2005 the Festival will consist of twenty-four races over four days with total prize money of 2.5 million. The feature race is the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
