CheatersCheaters is a weekly syndicated reality TV program, where licensed investigators spy on someone's mate who is suspected of cheating with another person. The program starts out with a brief interview with the 'plaintiff' and a description of the suspect. Then the investigation tape rolls and as they show the video footage of their investigation, a narrarator explains what's going on to the viewing audience. After the multi-week long investigation, the host of the show, Joey Greco, shows the footage to the person who suspects their mate is cheating. After they view the video evidence of their mate cheating, they then go confront the alleged cheater as they are out with the person they are cheating with. Often during the confrontation, either a nasty verbal argument occurs, or physical violence. The show sometimes shows updates from past guests to see if they are still with the person who cheated. The show, created by Bobby Goldstein, made its debut in 2000. Until 2002, the show was hosted by one of its co-producers, Tommy Habeeb, who used the screen name Tommy Grand. Habeeb left the show due to a dispute with the production company. As of 2004, Cheaters had begun its fifth season.
Cheaters is also the name of a controversial 2000 movie featuring Jena Malone.
