Chasseur

Chasseur is a French word for "hunter". The name was used for certain infantry units in the French Army, comprised of hunters or woodsmen. Recognized for their aiming skills with a rifle, the chasseurs are comparable to the German Jger, also hunters known for their sharpshooting skills.
