Charles Sherwood Noble

Charles Sherwood Noble (-July 5, 1957) was an immigrant to southern Alberta from North Dakota, pushed into bankruptcy by poor harvests and low grain prices. He invented the Noble Cultivator, or the Noble Blade, that reduces topsoil loss due to wind that results from other means of cultivating. Note: large discrepancies among various accounts of his life.
