Charles Montague Bakewell

Charles Montague Bakewell (April 24, 1867-September 19, 1957) was a university professor and Republican politician. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He became a university professor, then a member of the Connecticut state senate, 1920-24; United States Representative from Connecticut at-large, 1933-35; delegate to the Republican National Convention from Connecticut, 1936.
