Charles Berlitz

Charles Frambach Berlitz (November 20, 1914, New York City - December 18, 2003) was an author known for his books about anomalous phenomena. Charles received awards for non-fiction literature, since he offered normal explanations for anomalous phenomena. He was the grandson of Maximilien Berlitz (Maximilian), and inherited the Berlitz School of Languages, which he sold. He studied at Yale University, and was a brilliant linguist (he spoke 25 different languages). He also wrote books about languages.
