Chapacura-wanham Languages

The Chapacura-Wanham languages are a nearly extinct Native American language family of South America. There are three living Chapacura-Wanham languages, which are spoken in the southeastern Amazon Basin of Brazil and Bolivia. The languages in the family are classified into the Madeira and Guapore groups, based on genetic relationships. All of the languages in the Guapore group are probably extinct, and of the three languages in the Madeira group, two, Oro Win and Tor, have fewer than 100 speakers.
