Channel 4 News

Channel 4 News is a television news programme made by ITN for the British TV broadcaster Channel 4. Jon Snow is the main presenter. The programme goes out at 19.00 on Mondays to Fridays and at variable times (usually around 19.30) at the weekend, and runs (commercial breaks included) for 55 minutes on Mondays to Thursdays and 30 minutes on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On weekdays a half-hour bulletin, "News at Noon", also made by ITN, is broadcast at 12.00. Channel 4 News is noted for its extensive coverage of international news and good background reports on current affairs. The programme was itself the subject of news coverage in 2003 when it broke the story of the "Dodgy Dossier" which led to a political crisis in Britain.
