Chanel ColeChanel Cole (born Chanel Cole Whalley on 13 November 1977 in New Zealand) is a singer from Bega, New South Wales, who was a finalist in the second series of Australian Idol (2004). She was voted out of the competition on 25 October, having reached the final 5. Chanel was best known for her quirky song choices and unique style. Her fans make note of her individuality, quick comebacks, and off-beat sense of humour. Chanel is also known for her hair accessories which often included feathers, flowers and other ornaments (most notably a plastic bird in her performance of Hit 'Em Up Style).
