Chamman (more commonly spelled Chaman) is a town in Pakistan, on the border with Afghanistan. Chaman is in Pakistan while Spin Boldak is on the other side of the border in the province of Kandahar in Afghanistan. This area is renowned for the smuggling of everything from carpets to opium. It is also a major inflitration route for Taliban fighters attempting to destabalize the Karzai government in Afghanistan.
