Central Bank Of Barbados

The Central Bank of Barbados (CBB), was established by an Act of parliament in May, 1972. Prior to the C.B.B. Barbados' monitary policies were governed though it's membership to the Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority (ECCA). The Central Bank of Barbados' responsibilities include the role of banknote issuing authority. It is headed by the Governor of the Bank, Dr. Marion Williams as of March 2005.

"The Mission of the Central Bank of Barbados is to foster a sound economic and financial environment which promotes the development of its stakeholders and encourages a culture of excellence and leadership."
