Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the unorganized territory has a total area of 1,467.2 km² (566.5 mi²). 1,440.1 km² (556.0 mi²) of it is land and 27.1 km² (10.4 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.84% water.

Demographics

As of the census ² of 2000, there are 95 people, 44 households, and 27 families residing in the unorganized territory. The population density is 0.1/km² (0.2/mi²). There are 347 housing units at an average density of 0.2/km² (0.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the unorganized territory is 98.95% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.05% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 44 households out of which 11.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.6% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.4% are non-families. 31.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
