Celebrity Mole

Celebrity Mole is a spin-off to the unscripted television series "The Mole," produced by Stone Stanley Entertainment. Premiering on the ABC Television Network on January 8, 2003, two seasons have been produced. Both editions were hosted by sports commentator Ahmad Rashad. In "," seven celebrities--Kathy Griffin, Stephen Baldwin, Corbin Bernsen, Michael Boatman, Kim Coles, Erik von Detten, and Frederique van der Wal--competed in physical and mental challenges while trying to determine who among them had been hired to sabotage their efforts to earn money from these challenges. In the end, supermodel Frederique van der Wal was unmasked as the mole and comedienne Kathy Griffin took home the US$233,000 grand prize. In "," eight celebrities--Dennis Rodman, Tracey Gold, Mark Curry, Stephen Baldwin, Corbin Bernsen, Angie Everhart, Ananda Lewis, and Keshia Knight Pulliam--competed in similar games. Supermodel Angie Everhart was eventually revealed to be the saboteur and NBA star Dennis Rodman won the US$222,000 grand prize. Despite decent ratings, ABC chose not to renew its option on the series, and Stone Stanley Entertainment (now Stone & Co. Entertainment) are currently searching for a new network home for the series.
