Celebran

In the fiction of J. R. R. Tolkien, Celebran is an Elf of Middle-earth, the daughter of Celeborn and Galadriel, wife of Elrond, and mother of Arwen, Elrohir and Elladan. Celebran's birth date is unspecified, and she first appears (in the Unfinished Tales) as having gone with her mother from Eregion to Lrien around S.A. 1350. She married Elrond in T.A. 109. In T.A. 2509, on a trip to Lrien, she was waylaid by Orcs in the Redhorn Pass of the Misty Mountains, captured and tormented, receiving a poisoned wound. Her sons rescued her and she was healed by Elrond, but she no longer wished to stay in Middle-earth, passing to the Grey Havens and over Sea in the following year.
