Cecil Walker

Sir Alfred Cecil Walker was a Ulster Unionist member of parliament for North Belfast. He lost his seat to the Democratic Unionist Party in 2001. He was one of the MPs to resign their seats in 1985 in protest at the Anglo-Irish Agreement. Sir Cecil was one of the few supporters of the Good Friday Agreement to come from the ranks of the UUP and, although quiet, was a very popular and well-respected man in Northern Irish politics. Sir Cecil received a KBE from Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. Walker, Cecil Walker, Cecil
