Catherine Booth

right Catherine Booth (nee Mumford) (January 17, 1829 - October 4, 1890) was born in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Catherine was a member of the local Band of Hope and a supporter of the national Temperance Society. In 1852 She met the Methodist minister William Booth.
