Cassino, Italy

Cassino is a town and comune in the province of Frosinone in central Italy, south of Rome at the foot of Monte Cassino at the confluence of the Liri and Rapido rivers, pop. 32,586. It was the site of most of the Battles of Monte Cassino during World War II.
