Carl LiscombeCarl Carlyle Liscombe (May 17, 1915 in Perth, Ontario, Canada - February 23, 2004 in Wailuku, Hawaii) was a Detroit Red Wings hockey player in the 1940s. Liscombe was a key member of the 1943 Stanley Cup champions, and scored 36 goals. He shares the team record for most goals in a playoff game and most points in a game, and was the first pro hockey player ever to record 100 points in a season. He spent the rest of his career in the American Hockey League, and was a two-time Most Valuable Player. In 1949, Liscombe helped the Providence Reds win the Calder Cup.
