Carl Edward Hellmayr

Carl Edward Hellmayr (1878 - 1944) was a German zoologist. Hellmayr was made Curator in Zoology at the Field Museum in Chicago in 1922. His speciality was Neotropical birds. His books included Catalogue of Birds of the Americas and the Adjacent Islands and The Birds of Chile (with Henry Boardman Conover). Hellmayr Hellmayr Hellmayr
