Carl D. Perkins Bridge

The Carl D. Perkins Bridge is a cantilever bridge in the United States that opened on January 28, 1988. It is named after, now deceased politician, Carl D. Perkins. This two lane bridge connects KY 8 to U.S. Highway 52 in Ohio. This is now the only bridge connecting Portsmouth, Ohio to Kentucky now that the U.S. Grant Bridge has been demolished and is being rebuilt.
