In Canada and the United States, a career college is a for-profit educational institution providing career-specific post-secondary, tertiary, and occasionally quaternary education. Typical areas of study include automotive technology, business administration, commercial art such as graphic design, engineering, information technology, and medical careers such as nursing and medical office careers.
