Capt. S.p. Meek

Capt. S.P. Meek was an early science fiction author. Meek wrote many stories for the publications of Hugo Gernsback, the earliest publisher of science fiction in the 20th century. Like many of the stories in Gernsback's magazines of the 1920's, Meek nominally used fiction to give detailed descriptions of current and possible scientific advances. While his stories (and the magazines that published them) had a mild popularity in their time, they serve a more historical than literary importance today. Meek, Capt. S.P.
