Canute Vi Of Denmark

Canute IV (1163-1202), also called Canute VI because the two prior kings Harthacanute were counted under the name Canute in older Lists of Rulers, was King of Denmark (1182-1202). Son of Waldemar the Great. Guided by the Bishop Absalon to not renew his fealty to Frederick Barbarrossa of Germany. Conquered Pomerania and personally led a crusade to Estonia 1197.
