Canchim

Canchim is a breed of cattle. Its origin is Central Brazil and it was developed by crossing the Indian Zebu cattle (Bos indicus) and the European (Bos taurus) Charolais cattle which were introduced to Brazil in the 18th century. Compared to the very productive European cattle, Zebu cattle is better suited to the Brazilian climate.
