Canadian Mennonite UniversityCanadian Mennonite University - "A University of the Church for the World" CMU is a private Mennonite university located in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada. The university offers classes in three different settings. The main campus is located at Shaftesbury & Grant. Three-year and four-year degrees are granted in in a variety of programs. Biblical and Theological Studies, Computer Science*, Economics*, English*, Geography*, History*, International Development Studies, Mathematics*, Music, Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies, Philosophy*, Political Studies*, Psychology*, and Sociology* *majors offered in partnership with the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg. Pre-professional programs: Agriculture, Architecture, Business, Education, Human Ecology, Law, Medicine, Medical Rehabilitation, Nursing, Physical Education and Recreation Studies, and Social Work. Menno Simons College is located on the campus of the University of Winnipeg. The College offers degrees in International Development Studies and Conflict Resolution Studies. The Outtatown program is an eight-month program of travel, study, service and adventure. Part of the year is spent in Canada while the majority is spent in either Guatemala, South Africa, or Thailand. CMU is the accumilation of three different colleges: Canadian Mennonite Bible College, Concord College (formerly Canadian Mennonite Brethren Bible College), and Menno Simons College.
