Campbellford, Ontario

Campbellford is a town in Ontario, Canada, in the municipality of Trent Hills. Located in Northumberland County at , it lies approximately midway between Toronto and Ottawa. It has approximately 3,800 inhabitants and is on both the Trent Severn Waterway and the Trans Canada Trail. It can be reached from Highway 401 by going north at the Brighton exit (on Highway 30) or from Highway 7 at the Havelock exit going south (on Highway 30). Campbellford has a brewery (Church-Key Brewing Company) and a chocolate factory (The World's Finest Chocolate). The town features a large toonie (the unofficial name for Canada's two-dollar coin), as a local artist (Brent Townsend) created the polar bear image seen on it.
    
Campbellford's hospital, Campbellford Memorial, is the only hospital located between Belleville and Peterborough (which are both approximately 60 kilometers away). It is across the street from Hillside Family Medicine, a teaching practise that is affiliated with the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine.
