Cameron Thompson

Cameron Paul Thompson (born 1 October 1960), Australian politician, has been a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since October 1998, representing the Division of Blair, Queensland. At the 1998 election he defeated the One Nation leader, Pauline Hanson, to win his seat. He was born in Rockhampton, Queensland, and was a radio journalist and a press secretary and chief of staff to several state and territory politicians in Queensland and the Northern Territory before entering politics.
