Cambridge Silicon Radio

Cambridge Silicon Radio is a Cambridge-based company whose main product line is a single-chip implementation of the Bluetooth standard for radio-signal communication between devices. Secondarily, they produce related pieces of hardware such as controllers and processors, and assorted software from drivers over protocol stacks all the way up to user-level applications. The company was founded in 1998 by splitting off from Cambridge Consultants. Apart from their main office in the Cambridge Business Park, Cambridge, United Kingdom, Cambridge Silicon Radio have offices in Richardson, Texas, US; Tokyo, Japan; Taipei, Taiwan; Aalborg, Denmark; and Seoul, Korea. A new office in Lund, Sweden is planned.
